THE BEAUTIFUL ONES.

Portrait Polaroids taken by Andy Warhol during the 1970's.

I BET THAT YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR.

Impossible to even think of the Seventies without looking into the infamous Studio 54.
Sex, drugs and rock n' roll.
OH and white horses led by naked men...

BIANCA.

For my mini collection which I am currently working on, my theme is Seventies Glamour which immediately led me to the epitome of glamour during that time; Bianca Jagger.
Party girl, Studio 54 regular, fashion darling and the original rock star girlfriend - countless inspiration for garment shapes, Halston-esque draping and, of course, feather headdresses...someone make me one?

PAUSE.

Images by artist/designer Beatrice Boyle as part of her recent exhibition for Londons 39-39. Boyle photographs models and then paints over and distresses the images to create something new inspired by previous work where she ripped pages out of fashion magazines and distorted the perfect images of the models to subvert their meaning, taking them from a commodity to a work of art.

ITS TIME TO BE BOLD.

I cannot get enough of this video. It perfectly captures the spirit of this vivid collection inspired by the jungle, seventeenth century cherubs, uniforms and the Jazz Age's Josephine Baker. As Miuccia Prada said; It's time to be bold.
