Although I spent half of my childhood there, this time I think I really appreciated the beautiful surroundings...
Rolling green hills leading into russet coloured cliffs, azure waters, grand country houses, stunning summer roses, afternoon cream teas and proper English pebbly beaches...
the best part of the weekend was visiting one of my favourite places in the world, Killerton National Trust Park; and reliving my early years by carrying on the time honoured tradition of jumping on and off all statues/monuments and rolling down every hill we find...its the simple things in life.
